Hi, I’m Linda Goad.
I opened True Vine in April 2019. It was my vision to offer a personable, warm, and inviting place for you to receive counseling.
I know relationships can go through seasons where you feel disconnected, alone, or unsure how to find your way back to each other.
As a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist, I will be your guide to building a stronger bond with your partner. Seeing couples find their way back to one another, repair their connection, and create a more secure bond is a beautiful dance.
Who I Help
I specialize in working with couples experiencing relational distress, especially those who feel disconnected, stuck in painful patterns, or unsure how to rebuild their connection.
I especially enjoy working with couples interested in couples intensives who want focused time and support to begin repairing their relationship.
I also have experience working with troubled teens, facilitating mental health groups at a local group home, and working with teens and adults in the drug court programs of Wayne and Cabell County.
You may be a good fit for me if you:
Feel alone, disconnected, or misunderstood in your relationship
Find it difficult to express your needs, fears, or emotions in a way that brings you closer to your partner
Feel stuck in the same arguments or patterns and want to understand why they keep happening
Want to repair past hurts and rebuild trust in your relationship
Desire a deeper emotional connection and a stronger bond with your partner
Are ready to work together to create a more secure and connected relationship
Areas of Support
My Approach
I offer Emotionally Focused Therapy, which helps you process your unmet needs, longings, and fears in your closest bonds.
I work from a model that is a present experiential process helping guide you through past hurts.
As a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist, I help couples understand the deeper emotions beneath conflict and learn how to express their needs in a helpful way.
Together, we will work toward creating a more secure and connected relationship.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
I strive to offer a personable, warm, and inviting place for you to receive counseling.
Couples therapy can be vulnerable, and my goal is to create a space where both partners feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward healing.
My Hope For You
My hope is that you experience healing and repair in your relationship, develop a stronger bond with your partner, and learn new ways to express your unmet needs, longings, and fears.
