Linda Goad, LPC, ALPS

Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist

I opened True Vine in April 2019. It was my vision to offer a personable, warm, and inviting place for you to receive counseling.

I know relationships can go through seasons where you feel disconnected, alone, or unsure how to find your way back to each other.

As a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist, I will be your guide to building a stronger bond with your partner. Seeing couples find their way back to one another, repair their connection, and create a more secure bond is a beautiful dance that I feel honored to witness.

Who I Help

I work with couples who are tired of feeling disconnected and are ready to create a stronger, more secure relationship.

You may find yourself caught in the same arguments, feeling unheard or misunderstood, struggling to reconnect after hurt, or wondering if your relationship can feel close again. I help couples slow down these painful patterns, understand what is happening beneath the conflict, and build a deeper foundation of trust, safety, and connection.

I also work with individuals who want to better understand their relationship patterns, heal from past experiences, and create healthier, more fulfilling connections.

You may be a good fit for me if you:

  • Feel overwhelmed by ongoing conflict or disconnection in your relationship

  • Find yourselves caught in the same painful patterns again and again

  • Want to understand what is happening beneath the surface of your struggles

  • Desire deeper emotional intimacy, trust, and connection with your partner

  • Are ready to move beyond simply managing problems and begin creating meaningful change

  • Want support repairing after hurt, rebuilding closeness, or strengthening your bond

  • Believe your relationship is worth investing in and are ready to do the work together

Areas of Support

My Approach

My approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based, experiential model that helps couples understand the deeper emotions and patterns that shape their relationship.

The EFT model helps you process unmet needs, longings, and fears within your closest relationships. Together, we will slow down the painful cycles that leave you feeling disconnected and explore the emotions underneath the conflict.

Through EFT, I help couples repair bonds by creating a safe space where both partners can feel heard, understood, and valued.

For couples who are ready for focused support, I offer couples intensives that provide a dedicated eight-hour day for deeper work beyond the traditional weekly one-hour format.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

I strive to offer a personable, warm, and inviting place for you to receive counseling.

Couples therapy can feel vulnerable, but my goal is to create a space where both partners feel safe enough to be honest, understood, and supported.

Together, we will work toward understanding your relationship patterns, healing past hurts, and creating a stronger emotional connection.

My Hope For You

My hope is that you experience healing and repair in your relationship, develop a stronger bond with your partner, and learn new ways to express your unmet needs, longings, and fears.

I believe meaningful change is possible when couples have the opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and truly understand one another.
