Couples Intensives

Focused Support for Meaningful Change

Stop Repeating the Same Painful Patterns. Start Rebuilding Your Connection.

When your relationship feels stuck, it can be exhausting to have the same arguments, experience the same hurts, and wonder if things will ever feel different.

Maybe you love each other deeply, but you feel disconnected. Maybe trust has been broken. Maybe you are caught in a cycle of pursuing, withdrawing, shutting down, or feeling misunderstood. You may have tried talking it out on your own, but keep ending up in the same place.

A couples intensive provides dedicated time and space to slow down, understand what is happening beneath the conflict, and begin creating a new path forward together.

Your relationship is worth investing in. You do not have to stay stuck in the same painful cycle.

What is a Couples Intensive?

A couples intensive is an extended therapy experience designed for couples who want focused, meaningful support in a shorter period of time.

Instead of meeting for a traditional 50-minute session once a week, couples intensives provide concentrated time to dive deeper into the patterns, emotions, and experiences impacting your relationship.

Most intensives are an eight-hour session held on a Saturday, allowing us the time and space to do the deeper work that is often difficult to accomplish in shorter sessions.

During your intensive, we will work together to:

  • Understand the cycle of conflict that keeps you feeling disconnected

  • Identify the emotions and needs underneath the arguments

  • Repair hurt and rebuild emotional safety

  • Process experiences that have damaged trust

  • Create new ways of communicating and responding to one another

  • Strengthen your emotional connection and bond

Are you a good fit?

A couples intensive may be the right fit for you if:

  • You keep having the same arguments and cannot seem to break the cycle

  • You feel like roommates instead of partners

  • One or both of you feel emotionally distant, unheard, or misunderstood

  • Trust has been damaged through betrayal, secrecy, or painful experiences

  • You are struggling after an affair or significant relationship rupture

  • One partner pursues connection while the other withdraws or shuts down

  • You feel stuck between wanting to repair the relationship and feeling unsure how

  • You want to stop surviving your relationship and start feeling connected again

Couples intensives are especially helpful for couples who are motivated to understand each other differently and are ready to invest focused time into healing their relationship.

Why choose an intensive?

Many couples wait until their relationship is in crisis before seeking help. By that point, both partners may feel exhausted, discouraged, and unsure where to begin.

A couples intensive creates the opportunity to step away from the daily stressors of life and give your relationship focused attention. Rather than spending weeks slowly uncovering the layers of your relationship, an intensive allows us to spend extended time understanding your patterns and beginning the repair process.

This focused format can be especially meaningful for couples who:

  • Need support sooner rather than later

  • Want to make significant progress in a shorter timeframe

  • Have busy schedules and need a more concentrated approach

  • Feel ready to do deeper relationship work together

Your relationship matters.

Choosing a couples intensive is a meaningful investment in your relationship and your future together.

Whether you are trying to repair after a painful experience, rebuild trust, or find your way back to the connection you once had, focused support can help you begin moving forward.

You do not have to keep having the same fight. You do not have to keep feeling alone in your relationship.

A different way of connecting is possible.
