Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you do not understand, or simply wanting to know yourself on a deeper level.
I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as your full self. Somewhere you feel accepted, understood, and supported as you work through what is weighing on you.
My goal is to help you better understand your emotions, your experiences, and the relationships that matter most to you.
Hi, I’m Rachel Baldrige-Bush.
Who I Help
I enjoy working with college students, young professionals, educators, and individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and create more authentic, meaningful relationships.
I work with people who may be navigating big life transitions, feeling overwhelmed by emotions, struggling to express what they need, or wanting to break patterns that leave them feeling stuck.
I also enjoy working with couples and families who want to strengthen their relationships and learn healthier ways to communicate and connect.
Areas of Support
You may be a good fit for me if you:
Find yourself overthinking everything
Feel disconnected from yourself or others
Wonder why the same patterns keep showing up in your life
Want to understand why you feel the way you do
Want to learn how to manage and express your emotions
Hope to break patterns that no longer serve you
Wish you felt more confident being your authentic self
Want to build deeper, healthier relationships
My Approach
My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based, experiential approach that helps us understand the emotions and patterns beneath the surface.
I believe emotions are powerful guides that can help us understand ourselves and create lasting change.
Together, we will slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface, and begin to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is not to change who you are, but to help you understand yourself more deeply and create meaningful change.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself.
I strive to create a space that feels warm, genuine, and welcoming—a place where you can be honest, ask questions, laugh when you need to, and talk through the things that feel difficult.
I bring compassion, curiosity, and a little bit of humor into my work because therapy does not have to feel intimidating. You are allowed to be human here.
My Hope For You
My hope is that therapy helps you feel more connected to yourself and the people around you.
I want you to leave with a deeper understanding of your emotions, more confidence in expressing your needs, and the ability to create relationships that feel authentic and meaningful.

Being married to a teacher has also given me a deeper appreciation for the dedication, stress, and emotional demands that come with caring for students every day.
I am also an Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor (ALPS), and I enjoy supporting the growth and development of future counselors.
