Hi, I’m Caylin Bradshaw France.

I understand the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I encourage active participation by you throughout your journey. I believe meaningful change happens when we work together both inside and outside of the therapy room.

Who I Help

I enjoy working with college students, graduate students, young professionals, and individuals navigating major life transitions.

Through my work at Marshall University, I have the privilege of supporting students as they balance academics, relationships, careers, independence, and the many changes that come with young adulthood.

Whether you're adjusting to college, entering the workforce, pursuing graduate school, or simply trying to figure out who you are and where you're headed, I'm here to help.

Areas of Support

You may be a good fit for me if you are:

  • Feeling overwhelmed by college, work, or the transition into adulthood

  • Constantly worrying, overthinking, or feeling pressure to succeed

  • Trying to figure out who you are and what you want for your future

  • Struggling to balance school, relationships, and personal responsibilities

  • Learning how to set boundaries and build healthier relationships

  • Adjusting to independence, major life changes, or a new season of life

  • Wanting practical tools to better understand yourself and manage challenges

My Approach

I use a variety of techniques and therapy models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness.

I utilize a client-centered therapy approach and encourage active participation by you in your journey.

I believe therapy is something you practice, not just something you attend.

Together, we'll identify your goals, explore what's keeping you stuck, and create practical steps you can apply between sessions. I often provide reflection activities, personalized homework, and encourage journaling so you can continue growing long after our conversations end.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

I believe the therapeutic relationship is an important part of the counseling process.

My approach is collaborative and active. You can expect to participate in your growth both during sessions and between appointments.

Many clients appreciate having opportunities to continue their work outside of therapy through reflection, journaling, and personalized activities that support their goals.

My Hope For You

My hope is to support you as you gain insight, develop new skills, and create meaningful change in your life.

I want you to leave therapy with a deeper understanding of yourself and practical tools you can continue using long after our sessions.

A Little More About Me

I work full time as a Student Success Specialist with the TRIO Student Support Services program at Marshall University and provide part-time therapy at True Vine.

Every day I work alongside college students as they navigate academics, relationships, financial stress, career decisions, and the transition into adulthood. This experience gives me a unique understanding of the challenges many students and young professionals face.

I especially enjoy supporting first-generation college students as they navigate the unique opportunities and pressures that can come with being the first in their family to pursue higher education.
